How You Can Help

Adoption is one of the many ways we can help Greenville County Animal Care become a NO KILL community.
Animal Care makes the adoption process easy; there is a $35 flat rate adoption fee, and all adoptions include the following:
  • Spay or Neuter

  • Microchip and Registration

  • Canine or Feline Vaccines

  • De-wormer

  • Flea Spray Treatment

  • Heartworm Test (for dogs)

  • Feline Leukemia/FIV Test (for cats)

  • Local Pet Store Coupons

  • $5 Off Hill's Science Diet Pet Food

Here's what you'll need to adopt.

The things you'll need to bring with you to Greenville County Animal Care to complete the adoption process:
Picture ID with your current address. For example, a Driver's License or State ID.
Proof of age (you must be 18 or older to adopt a pet from Animal Care)
Proper form of payment (cash, credit/debit card, money order). Checks are accepted with a current Driver's License.
A carrier for your adopted kitty or a leash and collar for your adopted dog. Don't have these items? Don't worry - we will have these and many more wonderful items for your new pet available for purchase in our Pet Retail Store.
